He was a member of First Baptist Church of Troy and was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Freemason and member of Troy Lodge 718. He was a 2013 graduate of West Montgomery High School and a 2015 graduate of Montgomery Community College with a degree in Forestry.
He is survived by his sister, Lauren Atkins of Asheboro; maternal grandmother, Virginia Brady Comer of Seagrove; paternal grandparents, John Lewis and Edith McIntyre Atkins of Troy; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was pre-ceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul Clinton Comer.
